February - Seniors have a Valentine's Day Feast!
On February 14th, volunteers from Empire Realty Group, LLC prepared a feast for seniors at the Multi-Service Center on 2nd and Grand Streets in Hoboken, NJ. Starting at 8am, members of the community-focused Empire Cares group created a Valentine’s Day Feast including French Toast, Breakfast Pasta, Eggs, Bacon and Sausage. Chef Paul Fried of Empire Realty Group created the menu and 20 real estate agents from the company came over to help prep, cook and clean up afterwards. Angelo Cerrone of Empire Realty Group, LLC serenaded the seniors with Frank Sinatra love songs as they were filling up on the Valentine’s Day Feast. Children from Park Prep Academy created Valentine’s Day cards for the tables and Crumbs Bakery offered delicious cupcakes for dessert. Jane Estes, Broker and co-owner of Empire Realty Group, LLC, explains why the Real Estate agency decided to create Empire Cares, the volunteer arm of their organization. “It’s a way for us to connect with our community and hopefully encourage other businesses in town to do the same.”
November - Hoboken Homeless Shelter Food Drive:
Empire Realty Group, LLC is organizing a food and necessities drive for the Hoboken Shelter. The shelter depends on donations to help sustain its mission of providing a safe haven to homeless adult men and women. With the help of 2,000 - 3,000 volunteers annually, the Hoboken Shelter provides beds for 50 people nightly, serves 200 meals daily, and provides such support services as food, shelter, case management, counseling, job and life skills training, creative arts workshops, and emergency homelessness prevention grants. These services help the homeless guests develop the skills needed to gain employment, achieve independence, and re-integrate into the community. Supplies needed:

- Thermal long underwear (Tops & Bottoms)

- Hand & Foot Warmer Packets (available at Bed, Bath & Beyond and other stores)
